About Cinderella’s Wishes
About Cinderella’s Wishes
The “Cinderella” Nickname.........My name is Cindi — and yes, “Cinderella’s Wishes” really is named after me. Years ago, my husband started calling me “Cinderella” as a nickname, and it stuck.
But the name means more to me than just a nickname. We spent years taking our two boys and my husband to Magic Kingdom, and even though the trips were for them, they always felt like mine too. Surrounded by all these guys, I was the princess of the family — and going to Magic Kingdom felt like going home to see my castle. Every time I rounded that corner and Cinderella Castle came into view, it felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
My favorite part of those trips, while the kids were growing up, was always the Wishes fireworks show right there by the castle. When it came time to name this business, “Cinderella’s Wishes” was the only name that fit — my nickname and the place that always felt like home to me, together.
This isn’t a shop built around a license or a character — it’s built around me, my family, and the vacations that inspired every piece I make.
The brand is growing with me, too. Disney will always be part of where this started, but these days I’m just as drawn to the beach — the sunshine, the salt air, the slower pace. You’ll start seeing that show up more and more in what I make, right alongside the pieces that started it all.
Why I Started Making These
It started with going to Disney, of course, and packing for the trip. I wanted my bag, my hair clips, my scrunchies, and my bag charms to actually match. But I could never find that anywhere. So I started putting the pieces together myself, mixing and matching until they worked.
Eventually it hit me: if I loved having everything match, other people probably would too. That’s the whole reason Cinderella’s Wishes exists — it came from my own packing list before it was ever a shop.
What I Make
I design and make vacation-inspired accessories — bag charms, tote bags, and jewelry — meant to be worn and carried together as a set: something to spot your bag on a luggage carousel, something to match it, something that makes the countdown to a trip feel a little more real. Lately that inspiration is leaning more coastal — beachy colors, textures, and details for the days when the vacation you’re dreaming about is barefoot in the sand.
As the shop grows, I’m also planning to bring that same matching, vacation-ready mindset into home decor — so the coordinated feel doesn’t have to stop when you unpack.
Why I Do This Myself
I’m not a big warehouse operation. Every order that comes through this site is one I personally see, make or pack, and ship. If something’s not right, you’re not talking to a chatbot or a support ticket queue — you’re talking to me.
I still remember what Disney customer service used to feel like — the kind where it didn’t matter what the issue was, you were treated like you mattered and the customer was always right. That standard isn’t as easy to find anymore, but it’s the one I hold myself to with every single order. I want you to feel that same care when you shop here, and I think you will.
